The system of concentration camps Jasenovac was a true Hell on Earth.
Organized by Catholic Nazi fanatics known as Ustashas
during World War II, Jasenovac represents the worst scandal in modern European history.
A book by Jasenovac survivor:
"The smell of Human Flesh
A Witness of the Holocaust
Memories of Jasenovac
"

The horrors of Jasenovac surpass manyfold anything we know about the dark ages
of the Inquisition. The daily mass murder orgies in which Catholic clergy participated
directly can hardly be put in words. Every day, every night at Jasenovac was a
Bartholomew's Night. Over six hundred thousand men, women and children were butchered
in the most bestial fashion. Too few survived to tell the story.
Jasenovac survivor, architect Cadik Danon, still living in Belgrade, Serbia, found
strength in his heart to tell what he saw and survived in this Catholic Church organized hell.
He wrote a book. He begged us to present it on this web site. His utmost wish is that
the whole world learns... so feel free to copy and distribute.
We only ask you to fully quote the source -
the book title, author's name and the URL of this web page. Thank you.

NOTE:
This and other excerpts from Mr. Cadik Danon's book are presented on the
Srpska-Mreza.com site with strict
and explicit permission from the author.
Mr. Danon's main wish is for the entire world to learn about
Jasenovac so that horrors and injustice of this sort are never, ever repeated-
anywhere in the world. He is painfully aware that he is a rare survivor
of the Jasenovac hell. He is also one
of the few survivors who is still among us.
Today, September 26, 2007, Mr. Danon is still alive and well. As a
retired architect he lives in Belgrade.
